Farmer not an IT Professional

Well, after much knashing of teeth and tearing of hair out, I think I have managed to figure out how to get PDF files to download over to this blog, with the intent of making our Harvest Tickets easier to read and access from different platforms. Mind blowingly complicated considering the download mechanism (Google's "Drive") AND the blog software are both owned by Google. Really, there can't just be a "download PDF" button? It has to require studying 11 pages of instructions downloaded off the internet, viewing a U-Tube video from an Indian IT guru dozens of times to figure out and HTML code management (here....I'm not kidding...this is from page five: "after copying the code go to Blogger.com..create a new post...select HTML Tab, and paste the code where you would like to see the document to appear. Now within the code that you pasted few moments a go (sic) search for /preview and replace it with /edit?usp=sharing....)  Really?

Feedback of the results would be welcomed. Can you access the files as I think you should be able to?

hi donna,

been interested in signing up for a csa box but have yet to convince the boyfriend. i love reading these tickets because they help with the convincing. hehe.

perhaps it would be easier to open a free dropbox account, create a public folder, and copy the link and paste on your blog? that would make loading times much faster and everyone would have access to the pdf file. i do this with my resume on my online portfolio and it works like a charm!

Not that GMO's are anything to laugh about, but appealing to reason hasn't affected much change, so here's a link to a cynical video spoofing Monsanto. Here's the thing;  each year the GMO issue becomes more oppressive to those that passionately choose to farm without GMO's as well as to those that would choose to dine without GMO's...if their food was labeled in such a way that they'd have a choice. Even so called healthy food sources like WholeFoods have recently acknowledged that many of their store products contain GMO's. Harvest Shot April 8-9 2014

Harvest shot for this week. We lost much of our early mulberry crop to unseasonably windy nights. Just such a disappointment to see so much of our beautiful fruit on the ground. Squeaked by with very small portions for all Large Shares this week from our earliest trees. We do have half an acre of later fruit coming in, and look forward to a less meager provisions.
